A conversation with independent curator Yasmin Ramirez, and artists Alicia Cristina Grullon and Yasmin Hernandez who will reflect on Marta Moreno Vega’s work and the impact and legacy of her publication exposing and exploring cultural equity, and the task of decolonizing institutions, art history, and more.

Yasmin Ramirez, Ph.D., is an independent curator who specializes in Nuyorican and Latinx art. She is an adjunct curator for Bronx Museum of the Arts and serves on the National Steering Committee for the biennial conference, Latino Art Now.

Alicia Cristina Grullón is a Bronx-based artist creating socially engaged work and performance. She has exhibited and carried out residencies across New York City and in Germany.

Yasmín Hernándezis a Brooklyn-born and raised artist who researches, reflects, writes and paints on repatriation, healing, light and love as decolonial strategies.
